I haven’t updated Wordpress yet for the same reason. It’s just at one point I lost a weeks worth of work through my own stupidity and I’m afraid I’ll do something like that again. I have backup but still.
I have no plans for the new year. =S

Woooohoooo!!! Christmas Hols, I haven’t done it yet I am a bit nervous about it but might do it this week.

New year, dinner with the husband :)

I love WP for that, as long as you hit the automatic update when there’s a new one you won’t lose anything. I made the mistake of not updating for a while (after they did like 3 new versions) and when I tried to go to the newest one I lost everything.

For New Years I might go out to eat with my hubby and just stay home and relax.

Christmas holidays are the best, I hate the count down though :(
I use the new Wordpress now too, I definitely prefer it.

Always nice when Christmas is finally here. Wrapping up presents are definitely my favourite part.

If there any fire work, then I’m definitely going to watch. It’s always nice to start the new year with a boom and pretty colours.

I’ve also been afraid to switch to wordpress 2.9, but now seeing it worked fine for you I’m a little less worried.
My plans for new years is I get to hang out with friends who i haven’t seen for a year. Hope you get concrete plans too.
